UPDATE: PEI SLEEPING BAG PROJECT
YAY! Sleeping Bags have been on the move all across PEI. I went from 1200 being bagged, and tagged to getting down to around 40 bags left to get out and about. I have been getting the greatest stories and photos from people who are getting these bags into the hands of who needs them.
Because of the generosity of islanders, bags have made it from tip to tip on PEI. Literally. I started out with a goal of getting 500 bags into the hands of Charlottetown recipients via Santas Angels PEI. The project then grew and grew and grew and so did my heart. Bags have reached Tignish, Lennox Island, Summerside, Crapaud, Montague, Mount Stewart, Georgetown, Souris, Cornwall, Charlottetown and surrounding areas.
This couldn’t have happened and wouldn’t have happened without this incredible group of sponsors, who were all on board with the project from the minute I told them about it. I have learned so much from each of these people. I am a better person for knowing each of them.
